AI Meets Nature - How We Built The Intelligent Garden
Wednesday 15th October 2025 • 3:40 PM - 4:10 PMAvanade played a prominent and innovative role at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 with a debut of the Avanade Intelligent Garden, a groundbreaking fusion of nature and technology that earned a prestigious gold medal.
In collaboration with Microsoft and designed by award-winning landscape architects Tom Massey and Je Ahn, the garden showcased how AI can support the health and resilience of urban trees - critical allies in the fight against climate change. Visitors could interact with the garden using their smartphones to "ask" trees what they need, demonstrating how AI can monitor and respond to environmental data like soil health, air quality, and weather patterns
This initiative marked Avanade’s 25th anniversary and underscored its long-standing commitment to using technology for good. The garden was not only a visual and technological marvel but also a platform for storytelling about sustainability, urban resilience, and digital innovation.
