You Don't Need to Be a Developer: Hands on with AI-Powered Coding
Wednesday 15th October 2025 • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PMAI coding agents can help you create an Instagram clone, launch a blog for your side hustle, or build that WordPress plugin you've been thinking about—all with natural language instructions.
But here's the key: the best results come from teaching agents to think like good developers. That means writing a plan before diving into code.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn:
- How to communicate with AI coding agents to build real applications
- The power of "spec-first coding"—having agents write design documents before implementation
- How to review and guide AI-generated code, even without technical expertise
- New ways to interact with your development environment—like giving instructions from your phone while walking the dog, then checking back later to see your app taking shape
- Practical techniques for turning your ideas into working software
We'll be using Helix Code, an all-new platform that brings together state-of-the-art agent tooling including Claude Code and Qwen Code with remote desktop environments for the agents that you can access from any device. As a workshop participant, you'll automatically get added to the exclusive Helix Code private beta—meaning you can carry on building your own apps long after the workshop ends.
No coding experience required. Just bring your ideas.
