Terms and Conditions

Code of Conduct

AI for the rest of us is committed to creating an event at which everyone can participate in an inclusive, respectful and safe environment. All participants are expected to behave with integrity and respect towards all participants attending or involved with the event.

We reserve the right to cancel tickets or refuse entry at our sole discretion. All requests by organisers and representatives of the conference must be adhered to at all times.


Cancelling or Transferring Your Ticket

Please use [email protected] to request a refund or transfer. This must be requested at least 30 days prior to the event. 

Photography and Footage

There will be photographers and videographers on site. At the event there will be coloured lanyards available for anyone not wishing to be included in photography. We make every effort to respect your preferences in this matter. 

By registering for AI for the rest of us you acknowledge that there may be images or footage of you taken on the day. If, for any reason, you would like an image of yourself removed from a social media post or page you can email [email protected] 

Social Media

We encourage attendees to share their insights and learning with their network on social media during and after the event. We reserve the right to reproduce quotes and feedback posted in public with full credit. 

We would also like to remind attendees that all interactive sessions are done so under Chatham House Rule.


Accessibility

During registration we asked you to provide any accessibility requirements with us, however we understand that things can change. If you need to update your accessibility requirements please email us on [email protected]


Age Restrictions

All attendees must be over the age of 18.  


The Agenda


The agenda of the event will be published online. The organisers may update the running schedule and speakers without any notification. 


Privacy Policy

The event will host a small number of carefully selected sponsors and partners. At the end of the event our sponsors will receive the following information: your name, email address, job role, company.

By attending the event you are granting us permission to share your details with our carefully selected partners.


Data Retention Policy

When registering for the event you have provided us with additional information about yourself such as gender, accessiblility requirements and dietary requirements. We use to help us run an inclusive and accessible event. Only the event organisers will have access to this information and it is for the sole purpose of improving your experience.

After the event we will retain your data so that we can share updates such as recordings, photographs and details of future events. 

After the event we may choose to publish summarised information about event attendees such as roles, companies and demographic information. By registering for the conference and providing us with these details you grant us permission to use your data in this way.


Postponement 

In the event that we postpone the event for any reason, we will automatically transfer your ticket to the rescheduled date. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date you can cancel or transfer your ticket as above. 

Please use [email protected] to request a refund or transfer. This must be requested at least 30 days prior to the rescheduled event. 


Venue Prohibited Activities 

The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or to expel any attendee from their premises. 

Below is a list of Venue Prohibited Activities. You may not:

  • Smoke (including any electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, or similar products) inside the Building at any time

  • Perform any activity or cause or permit anything that is reasonably likely to be disruptive or dangerous to us or any other Participant, or our or their employees, guests or property, including without limitation the Meeting Room(s) or the Main Premises

  • Conduct or pursue any illegal or offensive activities or comport themselves to the community in a similar manner

  • Engage in any sexual acts or sexually offensive conduct anywhere in the area controlled by us

  • Allow any person to enter the Event Space without a valid registration badge for the event 

  • Bring any weapons of any kind, or any other offensive, dangerous, flammable or explosive, hazardous or inherently dangerous materials into the area controlled by us

  • Bring illegal drugs into the area controlled by us

  • Misrepresent himself or herself to our community 

Should the attendance or behaviour of any Participant be determined illegal, disruptive, inappropriate or potentially a legal or reputational liability, and/or inconsistent with the venue's code of conduct, they reserve the right to refuse entry, or to expel such Participant from the premises.
