Growing Up With AI: A Teenager’s Perspective

    Learn from Megan

" Like any tool, it can be used for good or bad, but I'm hopeful it will have a positive impact in the future, especially in areas such as medicine, where it can be used to help with the early diagnosis of cancer"

As a young person studying Computing at school, AI is clearly an important topic to understand, but also a controversial one. In this talk, Megan will describe what she is currently learning as part of the Year 9 (age 13 - 14 years) school curriculum. She will  offer insights on the differing views held at her school regarding when it’s appropriate to use AI to help with homework. Finally, Megan will highlight the areas she finds most interesting and share her own ideas on the topic and how it might impact her future.
